What would be the best configuration for SBS 2000 with 20 users. 1 big RAID
1+0 and use logical partitions or make separate RAID partitions. I'm trying
to setup a old Dell PE 2300.

sounds like 4 HDD's. I'd do a RAID5 (3*x) set with hotspare.

it may actually be helpful if you state how many drives of what size.

then 5*9 RAID5 plus hotspare.
usable space 36G in a single RAID5 volume. Two primary partitions: 12 for
OS, 24 for DATA.

Create the volume, then create the partitions before installing SBS. That
way you can specify the location of \company, \users & \clientapps during
install.

Hi,
I notice that the pro's always create a OS-partition and a Data-partition.
What benefits in creating 2 partitions instead of just 1 partition?

by seperating DATA from OS you stoop growth in DATA from making the OS
unbootable. There may also be advantages in performance due to reduced
fragmentation of the OS partition.
