hello everyone,
i have a sbs2003 server, that the clients can get to the shares by ip
address, but when you go to my network places the server is not there. i have
read somewhere that there is a registry setting or something that "hides" the
server. i need to fix that so any help would be appreciated. Thanks again.

I know of no way to 'hide the server', you can though have hidden shares,
but I don't think that's the problem.

Please give us the complete output of 'ipconfig /all > c:\ipconfig.txt' from
both the server and one WS.
