I tried using the mod i found here for the "unattended.txt" file, to increase
the partition size.

I DID NOT WORK... the system sucessfully upgraded but did not ask for any
information about disk size.

Whats next?

Thanks for your posting here.

Based on current status, I would like to suggest that you try to use a
third party application, Partition Magic to resize the partition to the
desired size directly.

Luckly this was a test machine, Whew!!
As an aside... partition magic will not work on a server. you have
to get
Volume magic. (I got it) I expanded the partition on my production
machine
already in preparation of the upgrade.
