Hi

Im looking for the best practice for upgrading my domain.with the least
amount of downtime. Cheers for any1 that can give some advice.

I have 1 single NT domain contain the following servers, each are all dell
poweredges so i will still be using the current hardware.

I have purchased 4 Win 2003 Server Licences ,Exchange 2003 Server and
Various Cals including Termianl Server CAls and Citrix Presentation Server.

My cleints include Win95, 98 2k and XP.

Server 1 ) Dell Poweredge 300 running only NT4 and sharing 1 single
Database (wont be upgraded)

Server 2 Dell poweredge 2400 Running NT4, (PDC, Domain Backup tape drive,
Wins and File Server)

Server 3 Dell Poweredge 2400 Running NT4 (DNS, and Exchange Server 5.5,
includes Backuptape drive for exchange)

Server 4 Dell Poweredge 4600 (no operating system )

Server 5 (Dell Poweredge 4600 (running Nt4 Termainl Server, Citrix Metaframe
1.8 and a bespoke program)

Will the 9x client have a problem logging on to a win2k3 domain?

Thanks again for any advice

To upgrade a NT 4.0 domain to AD you MUST upgrade the PDC first.
See:
How To Upgrade a Windows NT 4.0-Based PDC to a Windows Server 2003-Based
Domain Controller
