Hi SBY,
Thanks for your posting here.
You can use the Security translation wizard in ADMT for this situation.
With the Security Translation Wizard, you can translate the older user
accounts in ACLs to the relevant new domain user accounts.
Also, you can try another tool called SubInACL to modify the resources.
For example, we can run the following command on a file server:
subinacl /subdirectories <Path>\*.*
/migratetodomain=OLDDOMAIN=NEWDOMAIN
For more information about this tool, please refer to the Resource Kit Tool
Help, or run the following command:
SubInAcl /help /full
Wish it helps.

Bob Qin

Subject: Migrating roaming profiles

Hi
I am migrating from a win2k to a win2k3 forest and have come across a
problem.
I have used ADMTv2 to migrate the users adn FSMT to migrate the
shared
folders, all is OK but for the roaming profiles. The profile folder
keeps the
win2k ownership and access rights as I have a few thousand users I do
not
want to change them manually if it can be helped. Has anyone got any
idea how
to do this.
Thanks
