I installed Windows Server 2003 Ent. Ed and added it to my NT 4.0 Domain
(currently it will not be used as a PDC or BDC). Due to legacy systems I will
maintain a NT 4.0 domain while we plan for a new MRP system 1st qtr 2006. I
will then deploy full AD capabilities. My question is I have added the WS03
server to the domain and I am attempting to share directories from the
server. I continue to get a access denied message while browsing through the
network neighborhood from any computer. If I browse from the WS03 I am able
to see the file shares and I am also able to browse the rest of the domain
without any problems. I have gone through the file sharing wizard as well as
manually attempting to alter the permissions and security to allow my user
object as well as a specific group access to the share. Any thooughts or
suggestions is appreciated.
