Certificate Web Enrollment Options Defaults? |
|
|
I have created a specific User template that, when users enroll for the
certificate, I want certain options defaulted for them within the Web
Enrollment. The options I would like checked by default are "Enable Strong
Private Key Protection" and once submitted with this option I want to have
the Set Security Level automaticly set to High instead of Medium. This would
eliminate some issues with user enrollment errors. Is there a way to set
these setting in the template itself. I have not had any luck in my
testing.
Thanks.

You can select "prompt user and require user input..." in request handling but I
don't know of a way to force them to select high, though you could provide them
with instruction to select high and make it part of your security policy that
users understand is a requirement. --- Steve

How about simply customizing the HTML of the web enrollment pages? We
did in a project. This wouldn't prevent an evil user from sending
malformed form data violating your policy. But that's not the issue as I
understand you.
Ciao, Michael.
